Hello all and what a project! Missing you guys, the kids and everyone else in Belo loads... leaving was perhaps the hardest part of the trip!

But never fear, for through the power of internets, I can magically transport you back to the very shelter we stayed in! Well, not quite but I can give you the global coordinates.

19°58'44.86"S, 44° 0'46.40"W

Pop that lot into the search bar on Google Earth and it'll zoom you in on a fairly decent picture of the neighbourhood with a crosshair on our shelter. You can see the garden, the old wall and that mango tree, and also another big tree where now there is a big stump.

Well okay, I had a little bit too much time with my uncle's Google Earth, and traced our route from Gatwick as well, plus a couple of the places we visited. I saved it as a little file which you can download here. When you open it, it adds an entry to your Places list in Temporary Places. Click the arrow beside it to expand it, click Soapbox Brazil 1 2006 and press the play button and it flies you through all the places. Enjoy Smile
